<p>Position Title: Administrative Assistant for Athletics</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Athletics</p> <p>Primary function: Provides office, secretarial, and administrative support for the Athletic Director, Associate Athletic Directors, Coaching Staff, Sports Information Directors, and Athletic Trainers.</p> <p>Required Qualifications: Two years office experience requiring working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, spreadsheet preparation, Power Point, record keeping, good organizational and communication skills. Applicant must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Greets visitors to the Athletic Office and responds to general inquiries. Recieves, screens, and directs telephone calls. </li><li>Prepares various documents, lists, and forms for all sports. Types schedules, team rosters, and information forms, and prepares and mails contracts. Mails insurance forms for each student-athlete, and records/tracks insurance claims. Completes other typing and scheduling, as needed by individual coaches, trainers, and staff. </li><li>Sends bills to Business Office for payment, files documents, and prepares appropriate reports. </li><li>As requested, schedules meetings/appointments for the Athletic Director, Associate Athletic Directors, and/or coaches. </li><li>Takes inventory of and orders office supplies.
