Find out more by visiting www.vensure.com .</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) oversees all sales and distribution within an assigned region, driving growth through direct sales and strategic channel partnerships. This role focuses on expanding the customer base, maintaining client and vendor relationships, and fostering strong partner networks. The RSM recruits, trains, and develops sales staff while also engaging in partner acquisition and management. They conduct deal reviews, strategy sessions, and provide coaching to ensure success in both direct and partnerdriven opportunities. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and results-driven, with the ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Sales Leadership & Execution</p> <ul> <li>Drive regional sales results through hands-on field leadership and team accountability. </li><li>Participate in all aspects of the sales process: prospecting, approvals, pricing/negotiation, and post-sale implementation. </li><li>Conduct QBRs, deliver performance improvement plans, and model consultative selling methodologies. </li><li>Monitor sales pipeline for healthy volume, mix, and prioritization of accounts. </li></ul> <p>Channel Partner Development</p> <ul> <li>Assist Business Consultants to identify, recruit, and manage channel partners to expand market reach </li><li>Collaborate with Business Consultants to develop joint business plans with partners. </li><li>Support partner-driven deals by assisting in negotiations and ensuring smooth implementation. </li><li>Track partner performance and provide feedback to optimize referral and co-selling opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Team Management</p> <ul> <li>Hire, train, and develop Business Consultants as needed for regional growth. </li><li>Set and audit weekly goals, review calendars, and establish time management best practices. </li><li>Provide coaching and counseling to improve individual and team performance. </li></ul> <p>Strategic Initiatives</p> <ul> <li>Represent and support corporate initiatives with a positive attitude. </li><li>Analyze regional trends to identify new partnership and market opportunities. </li><li>Implement strategies to achieve targets set by management. </li></ul> <p>Marginal Functions</p> <ul> <li>Travel required. </li><li>Ad hoc projects and other duties assigned. </li><li>Mandatory seminars and training. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of business/economic environment and channel sales strategies. </li><li>Ability to lead, motivate, and achieve results through direct reports and partners. </li><li>Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office tools. </li><li>Ability to forecast pipeline projections accurately and analyze partner performance. </li><li>Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and marketing, with channel partner experience strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
