<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary learning</p> <p>environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential</p> <p>through arts integration.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required</p> <p>LICENSE: Must hold a valid Indiana State Teacher's License in Elementary and/or Middle School</p> <p>Education (K-8). Must be deemed Highly Qualified in accordance with the Indiana Department of</p> <p>Education</p> <p>EXPERIENCE: Required experience includes:</p> <p>? Must have excellent organization and communication skills while being flexible</p> <p>? Possess no excuses philosophy</p> <p>? Exceptional management skills</p> <p>? Must be able to adapt material to meet needs of diverse learners</p> <p>? Work cooperatively and effectively with other professional staff</p> <p>? Must have a working knowledge of balanced literacy, state standards, general education</p> <p>curriculum, and IPS curriculum/instruction framework.</p> <p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>? Demonstrate a high level of effectiveness.</p> <p>? Collaborate with staff members.</p> <p>? Prepare rigorous, engaging lessons and other instructional materials to meet individual</p> <p>needs of all students including arts integration.</p> <p>? Demonstrate use of scientifically-based research best practice instructional strategies.</p> <p>? Post assignments and input real-time data on Google Classroom.</p> <p>? Use a variety of instructional methods and materials.</p> <p>? Administer and analyze assessment data to inform instructional decisions that promotes</p> <p>student growth.</p> <p>? Encourage parent involvement in the educational process.</p> <p>? Resolves problems in a timely manner.</p> <p>? Participate in all staff and curriculum development workshops and arts performances that</p> <p>are sometimes held during the summer and/or outside of the regular instructional day.</p> <p>?
