Our dedicated staff fosters academic growth, social-emotional development, and a culture of respect and collaboration.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Northridge High School is seeking a compassionate and reliable Paraprofessional (Educational Aide) to support classroom teachers and assist students with instructional, social, and behavioral needs. The paraprofessional will work closely with educators to create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities. </li><li>Provide individualized or small-group support to students as directed. </li><li>Help maintain classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere. </li><li>Support students with special needs, including academic and behavioral interventions. </li><li>Assist with supervision during lunch, recess, and other school activities as assigned. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student success. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal or teacher. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. </li><li>Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. </li><li>?Must meet state and district requirements for paraprofessionals (e.g., passing relevant assessments). </li></ul> <p>For questions or more information please contact Jessica Adamson, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendat at (740) 967-6631 or email jadamson@northridgevikings.org.</p>
