<p>Job#: 3027158</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>This contingent role supports a Financial Crimes (FC) Intelligence function by strengthening governance, risk, and control practices. You will work on complex initiatives, assess multi-layered Financial Crimes challenges, and help build sustainable processes that support RCSA execution, audit readiness, and regulatory expectations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Consult on complex, high-impact Financial Crimes initiatives. </li><li>Analyze large-scale, multi-faceted risk and control challenges. </li><li>Support the development of processes, controls, and governance documentation. </li><li>Lead RCSA activities, including risk identification, control assessments, and artifact management. </li><li>Coordinate Audit, EBCE, IT&V, and Regulatory reviews. </li><li>Manage issues and corrective actions to ensure sustainable remediation. </li><li>Oversee data governance and access management practices. </li><li>Produce governance reporting and support special projects as needed. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery/Corruption, or related fields. </li><li>Strong background in risk management, controls, RCSA/RSCA, audit, or governance. </li><li>Experience supporting audit or regulatory engagements. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Financial Crimes domain experience (AML, intelligence, monitoring, analytics, investigations). </li><li>Experience with data governance frameworks or workflow enablement. </li><li>Prior experience producing governance reporting or senior-leader communications. </li><li>Ability to flex and support team needs in a dynamic environment. </li></ul> <p>Assignment Details</p> <ul> <li>Positions: 1 </li><li>Start Date: ASAP </li><li>Duration: 6 months with possible extension </li><li>Location: Charlotte, NC preferred; open to core locations </li><li>Shortlist: 4 candidates </li><li>Interview: One 30-45-minute video interview </li><li>Experience Range for Screening: 1-3 years </li></ul> <p>Top Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Audit background </li><li>Access management (SharePoint) </li><li>Governance experience </li><li>Document management </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Nice-to-Have Skills</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in similar Financial Crimes environments </li><li>Ability to step in and support team needs as priorities shift </li></ul> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
