<p>The Department of Health Sciences in the College of Science and Health at DePaul University in Chicago invites applications for a Professional Lecturer faculty position (non-tenure track) starting September 1, 2026. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Teaching responsibilities may include existing undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the department, as well as new courses aligned with the candidate's expertise. We seek a public health expert who can teach Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Community Health Assessment, Health Administration, Health Care Policy, and/or related courses. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in contributing to a multidisciplinary department.</p> <p>Service to the department is expected. Contributions to the MPH program are expected and will include developing/nurturing academic workforce partnerships, mentoring students through the practicum-to-workforce trajectory, and teaching practicum and workforce development courses. Adjustments to the teaching load will be made appropriately.</p> <p>About the Department</p> <p>The Health Sciences department trains students to address individual and community health through a collaborative approach that integrates natural and social science perspectives.
