<p>Overview</p> <p>The Structural/Architectural Revit Technician is responsible for developing high-quality models and detailed construction documents using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. This role supports structural and architectural design efforts for self-storage building systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Implement and manage Revit standards for the department. </li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. </li><li>Produce accurate BIM models and 2D construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. </li><li>Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering documents to create coordinated construction sets. </li><li>Review specifications, blueprints, and contracts to support accurate design output. </li><li>Apply building code knowledge, including egress, ADA, and fire separation, in documentation. </li><li>Draft plans, elevations, sections, and details for structural systems. </li><li>Generate shop drawings, installation graphics, and connection details for field clarity. </li><li>Create bills of materials and perform quantity take-offs from Revit models. </li><li>Support engineers and collaborate with other disciplines throughout the project cycle. </li><li>Participate in coordination meetings and assist in resolving design issues. </li><li>Other duties, as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>JOB SPECIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>An associate or bachelor's degree in architectural or Structural Engineering Technology is preferred. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in structural drafting or BIM role using Autodesk Revit. </li><li>Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong understanding of structural detailing and drafting principles. </li><li>Experience supporting structural engineers on steel-framed buildings, especially cold-formed steel systems. </li><li>Working knowledge of hot-rolled steel, concrete, and masonry construction and detailing required. </li><li>Ability to interpret and coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP documentation. </li><li>Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards. </li><li>Strong communication and organization skills; able to work independently or within a team. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). </li><li>Experience in BIM coordination is preferred. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk in an office environment. </li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. </li></ul>
