<p>Job Title: Controls Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Controls Engineer supporting operations, you will play a vital role in designing, programming, and maintaining control systems that ensure safety, efficiency, and performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Investigate customer complaints, determine the nature and extent of problems, and recommend remedial measures. </li><li>Understand, support, and program complete PLC, HMI, network devices, and related hardware for new equipment installations. </li><li>Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications. </li><li>Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for manufacturing purposes. </li><li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. </li><li>Use computer-based engineering software and equipment, including PLC and HMI programs, motion control systems, PC-based tools, and CAD platforms. </li><li>Complete the design of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems for new and retrofit equipment to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements. </li><li>Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment and support new program equipment launch activities, including startup, debugging, and performance validation. </li><li>Plan or implement research methodologies and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. </li><li>Confer with leadership, customers, vendors, and suppliers to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products. </li><li>Possess the authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>PLC programming </li><li>HMI programming </li><li>Electrical troubleshooting </li><li>Robotics </li><li>Siemens PLC </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in Controls Engineering or related technical fields </li><li>Strong commitment to reliability, including consistent and punctual attendance </li><li>Positive, team-oriented attitude that contributes to a collaborative work environment </li><li>Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic engineering team </li><li>Proven dedication to workplace safety and safe operating practices </li><li>Self-motivated with a solid work ethic and attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role offers flexible working hours. Candidates must be available to work overtime-including daily, weekend, and occasional holiday shifts-as needed. The position will initially support second shift operations, with an expected transition to a first shift schedule in the future. The work environment is onsite and includes weekly pay for consistent income, 10 paid holidays annually, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company support.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.25/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
