<p>Description</p> <p>The Director of Sales serves as the senior sales leader for the organization and is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the Technical Sales & Services team, and executing the company's sales strategy. Reporting directly to the President, this role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on engagement in the sales process.</p> <p>The Director of Sales works closely with Marketing, Client Relationship Management, and company leadership to expand market reach, strengthen client relationships, and ensure consistent achievement of company revenue goals.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Sales Leadership & Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute the company's sales strategy in partnership with the President and Marketing leadership. </li><li>Establish and monitor sales targets, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts. </li><li>Provide regular reporting and sales performance insights to company leadership. </li><li>Identify opportunities for revenue growth through new markets, partnerships, and product positioning. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Development</p> <ul> <li>Lead and support the Technical Sales & Services team, including Account Executives, Client Relationship Managers, and Sales Development Representatives. </li><li>Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoring new sales team members. </li><li>Support pod managers and team leads in coaching team members and achieving performance goals. </li><li>Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans to strengthen sales capabilities. </li></ul> <p>Sales Execution</p> <ul> <li>Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets. </li><li>Assist team members with closing strategies, negotiations, and complex sales opportunities. </li><li>Schedule and perform in-person and webinar demonstrations of JobsEQ software. </li><li>Attend conferences and industry events to generate new business opportunities and promote JobsEQ solutions. </li><li>Partner with Client Relationship Managers to identify and pursue upsell opportunities and drive client usage and satisfaction. </li><li>Prospect potential clients via email, phone, and industry engagement. </li></ul> <p>Operational Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Maintain organization and reporting within Salesforce to ensure pipeline visibility and operational efficiency. </li><li>Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Technical Sales & Services team. </li><li>Oversee contract and order form processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. </li><li>Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and initiatives targeting prospects and existing clients. </li><li>Participate in internal initiatives such as pricing committees and strategic planning meetings. </li><li>Perform regular client check-ins to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. </li><li>6+ years of experience in sales, preferably in SaaS or technology-related industries. </li><li>Prior experience as a Senior Account Executive, Sales Lead, or sales management role. </li><li>Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms required. </li><li>Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction and relationship management. </li><li>Ability to lead teams while remaining actively engaged in the sales process. </li><li>Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events. </li></ul>
