The role assists in maintaining health, food safety, and quality records. The Specialist will evaluate data for accuracy and regulatory compliance and generate compliance reports for management review and approval.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with various Team Members throughout the organization </li><li>Verify and validate food safety records, meat traceability logs and HACCP records </li><li>Record and maintain all inspection findings from Environmental Public Health, Department of Agriculture Weights and Measures, US Department of Agriculture, and other regulatory bodies </li><li>Support stores with temperature monitoring supply kits and troubleshooting </li><li>Coordinate monthly HAZMAT collection reminders </li><li>Support and update records for Food Handler and Food Manager Certifications </li><li>Support stores as needed with Food Safety signage, equipment, etc. </li><li>Update and maintain the manifest and annual training tracker </li><li>Update, manage annual training records for Food Safety policies </li><li>Maintain, update, and organize data of regulatory and internal compliance records </li><li>Create, generate reports for compliance programs </li><li>Other duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Adept in organizing, planning, prioritizing work, and communicating </li><li>Proficient in both oral and written communication (BILINGUAL in Spanish is a plus) </li><li>Confident working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment </li><li>Computer Proficient (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Conditions:</p> <p>The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
