<p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>PART I: SUMMARY OF POSITION</p> <p>This assignment performs the full range of basic tasks in the cleaning and maintenance of District buildings. Substitute custodians will be placed on an on-call list. When substitute custodians are called, they will be told which building to report to, who to report to, and what time to report.</p> <p>PART II: MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <p>A. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li><li>Experience as a school custodian or equivalent custodial service preferred </li></ul> <p>B. CREDENTIALS:</p> <ul> <li>Certificate of good health by a licensed physician </li><li>Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to cooperate in a positive and friendly manner with staff, students, and members of the public </li><li>Proven ability to communicate with members of the leadership team </li></ul> <p>PART III: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>The following identifies the primary and essential functions of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of all duties.
