We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing our quality systems.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will partner closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement, resolve complex quality issues, and promote a culture of precision and accountability. Your knowledge of AS9100 standards will help ensure all processes and products meet stringent regulated industry requirements.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare and submit Customer First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and disposition non-conforming product and lead root cause analysis for DMIRs.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct thorough RMA investigations and interface directly with customers to resolve quality issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain procedures, training documents, and work instructions to ensure standardized, high-quality output.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive and support Continuous Improvement Initiatives aligned with company quality objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Initiate and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).</p> </li><li> <p>Lead or support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) efforts with clear documentation and follow-through.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply statistical analysis and quality tools (e.g., SPC, Pareto, 8D) to drive process improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in and lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and company QMS.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively participate in Engineering Design Reviews and review process/engineering documents for accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Visit suppliers and customers to conduct process audits, root cause analysis, and quality support.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a quality-focused role, preferably a regulated industry.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with quality systems is a strong plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>AS9100 experience required; trained internal auditor strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP and quality management systems a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) are a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Soft Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.</p> </li><li> <p>High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Be part of a company committed to precision, quality, and innovation.</p> </li><li> <p>Work on exciting projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with skilled professionals who are passionate about what they do.</p> </li><li> <p>Grow your career in a quality-driven culture that values continuous improvement and professional development.</p> </li></ul> <p>The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
