<p>Chick-fil-A 169 & Barry Road is growing in the Northland!</p> <p>We are looking for an excellent leader to join our team. A Back of House Assistant Director is integral to the success of a restaurant or hospitality establishment. This role requires someone who is passionate about service, is reliable, and is able to lead a team. Flexible availability is critical. Many major holidays are required. Early morning, evening, nights, and Saturdays are required.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Operations</p> <ul> <li>Ensure we are executing proper procedures in every back of house position and provide ongoing feedback to the Director of Training. </li><li>Ensure daily quality and safety checks are completed (SAFE Daily Critical and ERQA). </li><li>Ensure all day parts consistently and systematically meet cleanliness standards. </li><li>Protect the Guest experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation, speed and quality meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A standards. </li><li>Create a culture of food safety with a relentless pursuit of providing quality food, quickly and accurately </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized environment. </li><li>Ensure BOH inventory is organized properly. </li><li>Open and/or close the restaurant and lead shifts as-needed. </li></ul> <p>Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead and model the Beacon on Barry mission, vision and core values with Guests and Team Members. </li><li>Meet with your supervisor weekly/bi-weekly to discuss team and business results. </li><li>Lead special projects assigned by your supervisor. </li><li>Ensure CEM metrics are being met and communicated weekly to the team. Create action plans to rectify any scores below expectations. </li><li>Collaborate with leadership in order to promote and enact policies to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and growth of the team and organization. </li><li>Communicate effectively, share ideas, & take a positive approach to all situations. </li></ul> <p>Team Development</p> <ul> <li>Meet with your direct reports bi-weekly/monthly to discuss team and business results. </li><li>Track the usage of VSBL by the team and have follow-up conversations with Team Members as needed. </li><li>Resolve conflicts and address issues within the team in a proactive and timely manner. </li><li>Promote a growth mindset and continuous learning environment within the team. </li><li>Set team goals, share the score visually and celebrate the wins. </li><li>Hold team members accountable to all policy standards (i.e. timeliness, grooming, cell phones, uniforms etc.). </li><li>Provide both formal and informal feedback to the team on an ongoing basis. </li><li>Perform annual performance evaluations for Team Leads in BOH. </li><li>Ensure disciplinary action is given fairly and consistently. </li></ul> <p>Financial</p> <ul> <li>Own food cost results by controlling waste in the kitchen, following Lean systems, ensuring there is no overproduction, that food/paper is not being wasted, and waste is being tracked. </li><li>Ensure equipment maintenance is completed regularly. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in a supervisory role in a high volume environment. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities. </li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. </li><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Bilingual is strongly preferred. </li><li>Be authorized to work in the United States. </li></ul> <p>Benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Health insurance beginning within 60 days </li><li>Sundays off </li><li>A complimentary meal every shift </li><li>Employer-sponsored food safety courses </li><li>Vacation time accruing beginning from date of hire </li><li>401k Program beginning after one year of employment </li><li>Scholarship opportunities </li></ul> <p>Core Values</p> <p>To be a LIGHT: Love, Integrity, Growth, Honor (Truett's legacy), Tenacity</p> <p>Love</p> <p>We foster a deep sense of care and respect for our Team Members, Guests and community.
