You will be responsible for supporting all maintenance needs to the entire Carthage Plant staying within Dyno Nobel Americas policies and procedures and safe working guidelines. Other duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety </li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations </li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations </li><li>Capable of working with petroleum based lubricants, various chemical solvents and chemicals with proper PPE. </li><li>Capable of understanding and using all safety equipment, including arc flash, machinery and tools' guards and PPE. </li><li>Proficient in the use of machine shop measurement tools and devices, including but not limited to tape measures, rulers, callipers, micrometres, dial indicators, protractors, squares, and bore gauges. </li><li>Preform preventative and predictive maintenance activities on plant production equipment and systems as needed or required. </li><li>Proficient in the use of shop arithmetic and mathematics for measurement and layout work </li><li>Capable of the safe and proper use of hand tools and portable powered tools </li><li>Capable of working from heights using ladders, platforms, or man-lifts with proper PPE and Fall-Protection </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED Preferred </li><li>Trade School or applicable Military Training preferred </li><li>Journeyman competency status desired </li><li>Millwright certification with 5 years' experience desired </li><li>Production environment knowledge </li><li>Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>3 weeks paid vacation + 12 paid holidays + PTO days </li><li>Full health benefits including employer HSA contributions + dental plan with an orthodontic option, wellness coaching available </li><li>Matching 401K </li><li>Generous tuition reimbursement program </li><li>Generous paid parental leave </li><li>Friendly and supportive coworker </li></ul> <p>Zero Harm for Everyone Everywhere</p> <p>Value People - Respect, Recognize & Reward</p> <p>Think Customer.
