<p>What you do:</p> <p>Financial Analysis and Support:</p> <ul> <li>Provide insightful financial analysis for products, investments, and transactions. </li><li>Monitor financial and accounting trends impacting the industry. </li><li>Drive initiatives within the team, department, and occasionally division under general guidance. </li><li>Participate in the annual financial planning process, developing presentations for executive management. </li><li>Analyze and explain IFRS and Statutory financial reports. </li><li>Occasionally prepare and communicate financial results to senior management. </li></ul> <p>Technical Research and Interpretation:</p> <ul> <li>Understand complex investment and actuarial topics to enhance business leverage. </li><li>Develop content and communication strategies to strengthen relationships with business partners, the parent company, and rating agencies. </li><li>Support governance and routine check-ins with Allianz Life and parent company Allianz SE. </li><li>Track market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify trends and opportunities. </li><li>Conduct market research and industry analysis aligned with company growth strategies. </li><li>Communicate complex subjects effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, utilizing strong PowerPoint skills. </li><li>Understand policyholder liabilities, asset portfolios, and key financial drivers. </li><li>Deliver high customer satisfaction in responding to Allianz SE requests. </li><li>Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI). </li></ul> <p>Project Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Lead teams and manage special projects to successful completion, keeping management informed. </li><li>Coordinate project meetings appropriate to size and scope. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and ad-hoc requests. </li><li>Play a leading role in team projects, gathering information and responding to requests. </li><li>Contribute to team processes and serve as a technical lead for deliverables. </li></ul> <p>Leadership and Communication:</p> <ul> <li>Understand and support the mission and vision of the team, division, and company. </li><li>Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. </li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication of results. </li><li>Leverage enterprise resources and relationships to achieve business objectives. </li></ul> <p>What you bring:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field </li><li>4+ years of relevant finance or accounting work experience </li><li>Strong written/verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong project management and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to work independently in resolving inquiries and problems </li><li>Ability to quickly understand financial reporting </li><li>Familiarity with life insurance and annuity business, company products, structure, and staff, including experience in accounting and actuarial concepts </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) </li><li>Knowledge of additional Microsoft products (Visio, SharePoint, SQL) </li><li>You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship </li></ul> <p>Base Salary Range $73,000-110,000</p> <p>Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location.
