We are hiring immediately for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in our Cleveland, OH manufacturing plant for 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm).</p> <p>Shipping & Receiving Clerk Pay/Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Pay $21/hr </li><li>Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/based on business needs. </li></ul> <p>Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities & Daily Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Operate various warehouse vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. </li><li>Inspect work areas to ensure established policies and safety practices are observed. </li><li>Sorting, picking, packing and confirmation of orders. </li><li>Processing shipments, cycle counting and other general warehouse duties. </li><li>Work closely with departments to exchange information and solve problems. </li><li>Conduct quality checks on work-in-process daily to ensure quality standards. </li><li>Comply with all work and safety rules. </li><li>Other duties and assignments as required. </li></ul> <p>Shipping & Receiving Clerk Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-</p> <ul> <li>Standing/Walking/Mental Alertness for duration of shift. </li><li>Exposure to equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.) </li><li>Ability to work in hot or cold weather; Steel toe shoes; hearing protection required. </li><li>Lifting up to 60 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. </li><li>Ability to sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl with/without reasonable accommodation. </li></ul> <p>Cenveo is an EEO Employer</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred but not required. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience; Forklift certification preferred. </li><li>Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite and Warehouse software programs. </li><li>Solid inventory control; cycle count; math; problem solving; data entry skills. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment; assist with overtime when needed. </li><li>Flexibility to assist with shift coverage. </li></ul>
