Your typical duties include preparing medicine, stocking supplies, and collecting patient information. You may also be asked to create compound medications and IV fluids. You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security as a per regulatory requirements throughout the organization.You will interact daily with hospital personnel in person and by phone.You will need to identify and solve problems with pharmacy automation with or without technical support. Requirements California Board of Pharmacy Technician Certification is required or pending eligibility or application requirements. Satisfactory completion of employment probationary period must include presentation of Technician Certificate from the Board of Pharmacy.Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program.A minimum of one year of experience in hospital pharmacy practice or an academic training program completed at Riverside Community Hospital required.Active Registered pharmacy technician, as per State requirements, in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
