<p>Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources this position oversees the payroll operations of UNL and IANR. Ensures compliance with Board of Regents, university policies/procedures and state, federal and IRS laws, rules and regulations. Focuses on strategic direction, policy issues, process/procedures and internal controls. Establish Payroll policies and procedures. Provide direction and support for new initiatives and program changes. Direct/manage staff on operations. Participate and support u-wide Human Resources initiatives. Represent UNL and Payroll on select UNL initiatives, special projects, on u-wide committees and Big10 committees.</p> <p>The University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks to attract and retain a high performing and collaborative workforce.
