Work involves preparing and making food options which may include but are not limited to: slicing and weighing of meat, vegetables, fruits and grain products for cooking, assembling, packaging, and packing of menu items. Activities and decisions are routine in nature. Employee follows written and/or oral procedures and practices.</p> <p>Must have the ability to operate commercial dishwasher, meat slicer, ovens, mixers and other small appliances. Ability to handle knives and other sharp items in a safe manner.</p> <p>Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, mix and assemble a variety of sandwiches </li><li>Slice meat, cheese, vegetables or other products for sandwiches or other menu options </li><li>Pack prepared sandwiches for transport and delivery to units on campus </li><li>Clean and sanitize work area and equipment </li><li>Clean all food contact surfaces with sanitizer </li><li>Sweep and mop floors </li><li>Wash and sanitize slicing equipment after every use </li><li>Clean and organize coolers and freezers </li><li>Cook menu items, prepare steam table set-up and break-down, and clean steam table </li><li>Record temperature setting on coolers and freezers </li><li>Operate commercial dishwasher </li><li>Wash all dishes, utensils, knives and containers </li><li>Perform cash register duties using POS system </li><li>Perform other duties as required </li><li>Must satisfy all job related attendance requirements </li><li>A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment </li></ul> <p>Availability of Position: August 13, 2025</p> <p>Hours: Approximately 5 hours per day (Between 7:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday on an as needed basis</p> <p>Salary/Pay Scale: $15.26 per hour</p> <p>Application Procedure: Submit online application at www.greatoaks.com.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity: All Great Oaks Career Campuses educational activities, employment practices, programs and services are offered without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, age, or disability.</p>
