<p>Survey Field Technician</p> <p>Department: Survey/Geomatics</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Pensacola, FL</p> <p>Reporting To: James Holland</p> <p>Description</p> <p>DRMP is looking for a skilled Survey Field Technician who's ready to grow their career in the exciting world of Surveying & Mapping/Geospatial. This role offers a great opportunity to kick start your survey career or build on your experience and take the next step forward.</p> <p>We're committed to supporting your professional journey-with hands-on training, mentorship, and a team that's invested in your long-term success.</p> <p>Your Primary Responsibilities will include</p> <ul> <li>Operate instruments and data collection systems (total stations, levels, and other measuring devices) to acquire data for various types of surveys. </li><li>Assist or perform processing of field measurements and related data; Limited equipment maintenance. </li><li>Maintain supplies for crew vehicles. </li><li>Knowledge of and ability to execute the duties of the rod person (entry-level person) and ability to substitute for and perform the duties of the crew chief when absent. </li></ul> <p>What you'll need</p> <ul> <li>High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school. </li><li>Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required. </li><li>Ability to travel (if needed) </li><li>Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project. </li><li>Ability to cut and/or clear brush while establishing survey lines.
