<p>Role Purpose</p> <p>The Production Manager will be responsible for direct leadership of a team of operators to overseeing daily production operations, warehouse management, and logistics to ensure quality, efficient manufacturing, inventory control, and on-time shipping. They will also provide key leadership and support in planning and executing production strategies, optimizing work flows as well as overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations.</p> <p>They will create safety-first culture promoting employee engagement and accountability in identifying and mitigating potential safety hazards.</p> <p>They will also ensure compliance with ITAR/Export regulations and company policies while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities</p> <p>Production & Warehouse Operations</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets. </li><li>Manage warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. </li><li>Develop and maintain production schedules to align with customer orders and inventory requirements. </li><li>Implement best practices for warehouse organization, material handling, and space utilization. </li><li>Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accurate and timely shipments. </li><li>Maintain compliance with ITAR/Export regulations, safety standards, and company policies. </li></ul> <p>Process Improvement & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Identify and implement improvements in production efficiency, material flow, and inventory accuracy. </li><li>Ensure proper material traceability and documentation in collaboration with the Quality team. </li><li>Enforce adherence to SOPs, safety regulations, and operational policies </li><li>Work with Engineering/Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and enhance reliability. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Development</p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop production and warehouse teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. </li><li>Provide training and mentorship to ensure skill development and performance improvement. </li><li>Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with Logistics/Procurement to ensure raw material availability and efficient scheduling. </li><li>Support Finance in cost management and operational efficiency initiatives. </li><li>Work with Sales and Logistics to align production and shipping with customer requirements. </li><li>Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance on equipment and facility needs. </li><li>Coordinate with Innovation for hand-off of new product process knowledge transfer and training. </li></ul> <p>Full job description in additional documents.</p>
