<p>Freese and Nichols, is seeking a Biller to join our Tampa, Florida team. As a Biller, you will focus on project-related billings that align with client's contract requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Take a lead role in the review, development and implementation of billing processes, as assigned </li><li>Respond to internal/external clients and vendors in a timely manner </li><li>Ensure billing processes, procedures and guidelines are followed in day-to-day activities </li><li>Assist in the review, development and implementation of billing processes, as assigned </li><li>Review project setup for compliance with prime agreements compensation terms before a project's initial invoice </li><li>Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of client invoices in accordance with contract requirements </li><li>Effectively manage Unbilled WIP for assigned projects </li><li>Perform basic investigation into billing questions and issues utilizing BST inquiries and self service reporting </li><li>Responsible for the association of sub-consultant invoices for payment upon client payment </li><li>Review and approve expense reports per expense guidelines. Recognize and resolve issues </li><li>Review subconsultant contracts per FNI guidelines </li><li>Flexibility in managing multiple tasks </li><li>Prioritize and complete accounting tasks within functional area </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED </li><li>2+ years of proven experience in billing or accounting functions </li><li>Microsoft Excel Experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field </li><li>Professional services firm billing experience preferred </li><li>Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry </li></ul> <p>About Freese and Nichols</p> <p>At the heart of our culture is our LEADS values (Learn continuously, Engage as family, Act with integrity, Deliver quality, and Serve always).
