<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking QA Software Tester -Python in Greenwood Village, CO.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Developing test plans, strategies, and test cases for API's </li><li>Reviewing and approving test designs and approaches </li><li>Conducting test execution and expertise in Jira defect management </li><li>Identifying and addressing testing issues and risks </li><li>Investigating and resolving testing issues and challenges with less guidance </li><li>Reporting test results and providing test metrics to stakeholders </li><li>Implementing and maintaining API test automation scripts </li><li>Analyze logs using Splunk during test process to Identify patterns and errors to make troubleshooting easier </li><li>Monitor Services in Production using Splunk </li><li>Develop tools using Python or Shell Scripting to support Test Execution and Analysis if required </li><li>Developing test plans, strategies, test scenarios and test cases </li><li>Conducting test execution and Expertise in Jira defect management* 5+ years of experience in Manual API Testing </li><li>Knowledge with the Microservices Architecture </li><li>Knowledge with API Testing tools (Postman and CURL) </li><li>Basic knowledge with Kubernetes, AWS, GIT Lab and Splunk </li><li>Keeping up to date with industry's best practices and technologies in testing </li><li>Experience in API Performance testing would be a value add </li><li>Willing to Learn Attitude and being Flexible </li><li>Exposure to Python and Shell Scripting would be a value add to develop testing tools </li><li>Knowledge about sequence diagrams </li><li>Willingness to learn and flexible attitude </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Detail oriented and thorough in testing process </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills </li><li>Adaptable and able to handle changing priorities </li><li>Takes ownership and accountability for assigned tasks </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality </li><li>Experience with documentation to effectively convey the results or analysis </li></ul> <p>Value Add:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in Test Automation </li><li>Exposure to Python and Shell Scripting would be a value add to develop testing tools </li><li>Experience in test data management and maintaining test environments effectively </li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful API Design principles and best practices, enabling better test case design </li><li>Ability to implement and maintain Test Automation frameworks for scalable and maintainable testing </li></ul>
