<p>Responsible for upkeep and organization of the facilities and instructional supplies of the Forensic Science Programs, including the preparation, distribution, storage, inventory and requisition of departmental supplies and materials. Works with faculty and students in an instructional setting. Coordinates the use of all forensics equipment.</p> <p>Develops implements and maintains a plan for control, review and monitoring of all safety aspects with respect to lab instruction.</p> <p>Responsible for inventory and requisition of departmental supplies and materials.</p> <p>Provides assistance to faculty with lab preparation and student practicums.</p> <p>Provides light cleaning and adjustments of Forensic equipment and materials.</p> <p>Coordinates with outside sources for repair and maintenance of equipment and supplies.</p> <p>Ensures the maintenance of the crime laboratory, crime scene room and storage areas by supervising the inventory, ordering, unpacking and storing supplies and equipment.</p> <p>Attends professional training, meetings and conferences.</p> <p>Performs related duties as assigned by the department coordinator.</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Working knowledge and demonstrated skills in Forensic Science. Extensive certification in Forensics training with at least 5 years' experience in active law enforcement with Forensic responsibilities</p>
