Duties are performed under direct supervision of the Program Director, Facility Manager and Shift Lead; some tasks are accomplished independently. Provide day-to-day supervision, ensure safety and care for children individually, while in school and in groups. Promote and assist adolescents with self-help skills in the areas of eating, hygiene, and grooming, handling individual problems and other activities. Models and supports positive youth development and positive behavioral self-management through praise, attention, and use of behavioral incentive system. Encourages adolescents' interaction and socialization with other peers, providing feedback to adolescents on appropriate behavior. Participate in Pro-Act crisis intervention as required.
