<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Job ID 81349-147 Date posted 12/01/2025</p> <p>Skyway Surgery Center, LLC, is hiring a Nurse Manager, FT</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Nurse Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The Manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Manager identifies and remedies variances through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Nurse Manager works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals. Oversees Pre-op/PACU/PAT; assists as Pre-op/PACU/PAT RN as necessary</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing. </li><li>BSN preferred. </li><li>Two (2) years experience in surgery management that must include pre-op, intra-op, post-op care with total joint and spine experience. </li><li>Licenses/Certifications/ Registrations </li><li>Current Tennessee RN License </li><li>BLS & ACLS Certification required </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Independent decision making skills. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. </li><li>Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians. </li></ul> <p>ORGANIZATIONAL</p> <p>RELATIONSHIPS: Supervises: All staff in Pre-op, PACU, PAT</p> <p>Contacts/Interacts with: Physicians, all facility staff, Board of</p> <p>Managers, patients and families.</p> <p>POSITION COMPETENCIES/</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES: Competencies and responsibilities associated with each position are a combination of hospital-wide and department-specific standards. The department specific standards include the competencies appropriate to the ages of the customer served.
