<p>Job Title: Chemist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Chemist is responsible for performing pharmaceutical manufacturing testing using approved methods, procedures, corporate policies, and current industry standards. The Chemist will interact with different levels of management and personnel within each department.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct analytical testing and report results for in-process and finished products in accordance with standards. </li><li>Accurately log test samples and manage testing schedules to ensure timely processing. </li><li>Perform stability testing, manage stability samples, and compile stability reports. </li><li>Identify and document out-of-specification (OOS) results, promptly notify management, and complete all required OOS documentation. </li><li>Oversee the management of retained and reserve samples. </li><li>Carry out calibration, qualification, and validation of laboratory equipment and instruments as needed. </li><li>Support investigations, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and Change Control processes. </li><li>Assist in coordinating and managing activities with third-party laboratories. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in general chemistry techniques and eagerness to learn and retain information. </li><li>Experience in chemistry bench work. </li><li>Strong computer skills, including the use of MS Office and web-based management systems. </li><li>Experience in chemistry laboratory within Food/Pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with HPLC testing. </li><li>Experience with Gas Chromatography. </li><li>Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry. </li><li>Experience with chemistry bench testing. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work will take place in the General Health side of the company. The lab is clean, organized, and climate controlled, ensuring a pleasant working environment. Though the facility itself may have some odors, the lab remains unaffected. The atmosphere is lively with music playing, and the team members are enthusiastic and enjoy their work. The position involves first shift hours with staggered start times, allowing candidates to begin between 6 am and 8 am, working an 8-hour shift.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
