This includes creating a product vision based on customer/market intelligence and innovative ideas, the product roadmap with both business and technical features, collaborating with engineering for the build, collaborating with sales/marketing for market positioning and sales support and with the customer support to ensure SLAs are met. The individual will work within Zinnia's Product Organization to ensure alignment with organization's strategy and vision.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</p> <ul> <li>Own a product area and be responsible for understanding and documenting user needs, define platform requirements solving complex use cases, define and manage roadmap and end-to-end product development from ideation to launch and subsequent iterations </li><li>Oversee and drive execution of product lifecycle including product and market research, competitive analysis, planning, roadmap development, backlog management, requirements development and product launch </li><li>Track execution, identify and solve blockers managing risks and achieving business targets </li><li>Conceptualize and contribute into the product strategy with inputs from Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Research and other cross functional teams </li><li>Define Product Features and own the business and technical requirements </li><li>Work collaboratively with large global cross functional teams </li><li>Support Sales team in pre-sales initiatives to help close the sales </li><li>Support Marketing team in content creation and market positioning </li><li>Collaborate with the customer success team to deliver a customer specific solution, including customer specific features, prioritizing roadmap and incorporating learnings from ongoing support </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of product management experience delivering products or technology applications in high-volume, high-impact sectors like InsurTech / FinTech / Financial Services </li><li>Extensive knowledge of product development lifecycle and strong technical background to build products at scale </li><li>Experience in building and managing platforms with with multiple components of a large platform product </li><li>Bachelor's or equivalent in technology or related field </li><li>Demonstrable success in delivering market winning products with experience in delivering Cloud Native, Modern Tech Stacks and Customer/Sales Channel facing products </li><li>Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration with ability to influence without authority </li><li>Detail oriented and passionate about delivering customer-centric solutions that solve customer problems and simplify experience </li><li>Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently </li><li>Analytical thinking skills </li><li>Advanced level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools </li><li>Must be able to travel on need basis to meet clients/attend events </li></ul> <p>BONUS POINTS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in Annuity, mutual funds, financial services, or life insurance work experience preferred but not required. </li></ul> <p>WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?</p> <p>Zinnia offers excellent career progression and competitive compensation. The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 dependent on skills and location. The salary range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
