It is important that the PIC advocates for ADC specific use cases and the overall NA perspective. </li></ul> <p>Key Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Identify designer tools and processes that can be eliminated, simplified, and automated. </li><li>Identify target areas for Machine Learning and Automation to transform our business processes and allow our business to focus on core value added work. </li><li>Support DI theme creation and execution as a primary responsibility. </li><li>Correlate with design and other parts of HDMA and AHM-IT to understand requirements and use cases. </li><li>Maintain theme objectives, schedule, and output. </li><li>Be a voice for design and create innovative solutions. </li><li>Provide the design perspective on theme activities across the division. </li><li>Provide support and feedback for other themes and activities within DI in the form of testing, working with design to establish use cases, and being a design advisor. </li><li>Attend meetings and provide collaborative feedback. </li><li>Support Japan led projects to digitally innovate tools and methods. </li><li>Collaborate with Japan to coordinate activities and long-term goals of projects. </li><li>Execute responsibilities designated to NA team for global Honda projects. </li><li>Support onsite meetings with Japan members and trips to Japan to move the project forward. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Experience, and Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum educational qualifications:</p> </li><li> <p>A Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field of study.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum Experience:</p> </li><li> <p>At least 5 or more years of relevant work experience after completion of academics.</p> </li><li> <p>Other job-specific skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Should be able to introduce new ideas, to improve CAD processes and data workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Curious and motivated to learn new digital engineering tools, including CAD, PLM, and AI-based solutions. Be willing to question current CAD methods to improve consistency and efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to troubleshoot complex CAD, data, and workflow issues while working with crossfunctional teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Be skilled in data analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates clearly and effectively with designers, IT partners, and management.</p> </li><li> <p>Makes sound decisions and solves problems related to CAD systems, processes, and data.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working with changing requirements and evolving systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to prioritize multiple CAD-related tasks with limited guidance.</p> </li><li> <p>Works effectively with associates and management internal and across regions, including collaboration with Japan counterparts.</p> </li><li> <p>Uses data and system metrics to identify issues and improvement opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to appropriately manage confidential information.</p> </li><li> <p>Creative, outside the box thinking.</p> </li><li> <p>Curiosity and motivation to learn new innovative tools and methods.</p> </li><li> <p>Not afraid to challenge the current accepted methods and processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in a team-based environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong decision making/problem solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to comfortably navigate uncertainty</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks with limited direction.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to interact/communicate effectively with associates and management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Workstyle</p> <ul> <li>This is an onsite job.
