<p>The Transporter/Courier transports patients, equipment, supplies and other items throughout the hospital in a safe and timely manner. Assists in the mobilization/transports of patient's/visitors in reaching destination through the hospital and upon discharge. Follows all patient / visitor protocols. Ensures that requests for information and services are accurately responded to, in a timely and appropriate manner, sensitive to the circumstances of the patient's/guest's emotional situation and privacy needs. Ensures cleanliness of patient equipment.</p> <ul> <li>PATIENT TRANSPORTATION: Transports patients, equipment, supplies, and other items throughout the hospital in a safe and timely manner. Complies with all infection control measures as appropriate. Ensure patients privacy and dignity at all times. Appropriately follows patient/visitor protocols. Uses appropriate body mechanics for all work activities. </li><li>COMMUNICATION: Actively engages in caring behaviors, taking conscious ownership for work and takes a proactive, deliberate, and thoughtful actions regarding work activities. Demonstrates appropriate use of independent judgement and decision making. Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times. </li><li>EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT: Ensures equipment is in proper working order; cleans and disinfects as needed or required. Maintains inventory and records of equipment.
