As the Dietary Aide Lead, you will play an essential role in leading the PM shift team, ensuring smooth and efficient meal service for our residents. If you have strong leadership skills, a passion for service, and experience in healthcare dining, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the team of Dietary Aides, ensuring smooth meal service delivery and adherence to quality standards. </li><li>Oversee the correct and efficient serving of meals, including providing courteous service and managing special meal requests. </li><li>Coordinate the preparation and plating of meals according to dietary preferences and therapeutic diets. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of dining areas and work stations during and after meal service. </li><li>Train and mentor new Dietary Aides, providing guidance and support to ensure excellence in service. </li><li>Assist with inventory control, including ordering supplies as needed. </li><li>Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in work areas, including proper waste disposal and completion of required checklists. </li><li>Work closely with other team members such as Cooks, CNAs, Nurses, and Stewards, as well as report to the Dietary Manager and Director of Hospitality. </li><li>Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and resident meal plans. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Required minimum of 1-3 years experience as a Dietary Aide </li><li>Required minimum of 1 year experience working in a leadership role </li><li>Ability to provide in the moment coaching and guidance </li><li>Previous experience with a meal ticket system </li><li>Knowledge of specialty diets </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills </li><li>Communication skills </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Teamwork and ability to work independently </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work under pressure </li><li>Strong work ethic </li><li>Hospitality minded </li><li>Pride in a job well done </li><li>Value in helping others </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love Us:</p> <p>At Eastcastle Place, we foster a compassionate and supportive environment for both staff and residents, treating everyone with integrity, dignity, and respect.
