<p>Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated Acoustics Engineer to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in developing their technical skills in the field of Acoustics and will contribute to overall project design and delivery.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide detailed acoustic analysis and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for clients. </li><li>Analyze and develop noise mitigation strategies for a variety of engineering projects such as roadway, rail and transit, and industrial facilities. </li><li>Conduct acoustic measurements, modeling, and simulations using industry-standard tools and software. </li><li>Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate acoustic solutions into overall project designs. </li><li>Stay informed about local building codes, regulations, and standards related to acoustics and noise control. </li><li>Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining client satisfaction. </li><li>Conduct site visits and oversee the implementation of acoustic solutions during construction phases. </li><li>Provide technical expertise related to noise control, sound isolation, room acoustics, HVAC noise and vibration control, and environmental noise assessments. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in acoustic consulting, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects. </li><li>Proficiency in acoustic modeling software </li><li>Strong knowledge of soundproofing, vibration isolation, and noise control techniques. </li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical audiences. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Experience with the use of sound and vibration test equipment </li><li>Strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines </li><li>Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment </li><li>Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrently </li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous mindset on personal and staff development </li><li>Positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic </li></ul> <p>Salary Range - $100,000 - $135,000</p> <p>Why Kimley-Horn?</p> <p>At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
