<p>Day-to-day responsibility include the following:</p> <ul> <li>The Site Director is the supervisor at the site and delegates tasks and responsibilities of staff members at his/her site. </li><li>Lead and teach in the Solutions program. </li><li>Take student attendance daily; resolve any attendance conflicts. </li><li>Work with Assistant Site Director(s) and Group Leader(s) to implement daily program components. </li><li>Work with Program Directors to update all Solutions program records. </li><li>Provide resources for Solutions staff with the help of the Program Directors. </li><li>Maintain an open line of communication between staff and Program Directors. </li><li>Help to review and update educational materials. </li><li>Provide all materials needed for the Solutions program at his/her school. </li><li>Provide Program Directors with materials needed list one month in advance. </li><li>Provide Program Directors of a list of snacks that are needed at least three days in advance of delivery. </li><li>Introduce parents/guardians to new staff members. </li><li>Responsible to work along with staff to keep all rooms neat and clean, including but not limited to, sweeping floors and washing table surfaces. </li><li>Responsible for parent communication under the direction of the Program Directors. </li><li>Share information with parents that are relevant to them in a positive and understanding manner. </li><li>Distribute all handouts, newsletters, and information to parents, school Principals, and the school secretary. </li></ul> <p>Program Planning:</p> <ul> <li>The Site Director attends Site Director Meetings and will share information with staff. Site Director Meetings are Wednesdays from 12:15-1:15. A schedule of dates will be provided. </li><li>The Site Director will plan curriculum on a monthly basis. Monthly lesson plans and supplies needed for that month will be handed in at the Site Directors meetings on the predetermined curriculum due dates. Site Directors will encourage staff to contribute ideas for the program and curriculum. Activities planned should include: Meeting at the beginning of each day, Arts and Crafts, Science and Nature, Creative movement and sports, and Music. </li><li>The Site Director is responsible to see that all planned activities are implemented. Post program activities to parents/guardians on a weekly and or monthly basis. </li><li>He/she is responsible for making sure their site staff is aware of their daily and monthly tasks. The Site Director may assign activities to staff members according to their talents. Communication: </li><li>All written communication, such as postings, letters, or reminders need to be approved by the Solutions Program Office before they are distributed. </li></ul> <p>Franklin Public Schools Lifelong Learning Institute Solutions Extended Day</p> <p>Staff Supervision:</p> <ul> <li>The Site Director is responsible to see that all staff members are performing according to the administrative procedures of Solutions. She/he is accountable for the proper supervision of all Solutions activities at their building or while on a field trip or similar excursion. </li><li>Site Director will plan bi-weekly staff meetings. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining a record of staff hours worked per day, and delivering time sheets to the program office by Thursday morning. </li><li>The Site Director is responsible to ensure that the dress code policy is being followed. The Site Director will report any concerns regarding this to Program Directors. </li><li>Any staff concerns that you have must be brought to the attention of a Program Director. A staff concern form should be completed. </li><li>The Site Director is responsible for providing staff with a break when shifts exceed more than six hours. Dress Code: </li><li>Solutions Dress Code is Business Casual. </li><li>All Solutions staff should be neat and clean. </li></ul> <p>Work Timeframe:</p> <ul> <li>There are two Site Director positions which exist within the Solutions program one is a school year position, and the other is a summer position. Site Directors are hired, and rehired for positions accordingly. </li><li>School year positions, and summer positions hours vary according to availability. </li><li>A Site Director during the School year must work mornings and afternoons at their assigned sites. </li><li>Benefits are available to staff that work 20 hours a week or more. Site Director Qualifications: </li><li>One year of experience in extended day, and or working with school age children </li><li>Strong leadership and organizational skills. </li><li>Computer knowledge especially in Word, Excel, & Google. </li></ul> <p>Site Director reports to the Solutions Program Directors.</p>
