<p>Engineered Materials Solutions based in Attleboro, MA is seeking skilled Press Operators to join our team within the manufacturing sector.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Set up and operate one or more automatic presses, compacting presses or four slides to punch, notch, pierce, slot, blank and form a variety of products. Follow instructions for methods of operating presses. Check work with micrometer and other measuring instruments and fixed gauges to check dimension to tolerances.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate one or more presses, spot welders and tapping machines. </li><li>May perform bench operations using hand-held equipment </li><li>May use punch press, degreaser, welders, pneumatic and/or foot presses, optical comparator scales, micrometers, fixed gauges, templates, torque wrenches, verniers, calipers, thread comparator, plug and ring gauges </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled </li><li>Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in area </li><li>Wear all required PPE at all times </li><li>Perform other related duties as required </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School or Equivalency Diploma </li><li>Basic Shop Math </li><li>Ability to read and understand written instructions in English </li><li>Ability to use hand held measurement instruments </li><li>Related Press Experience preferred but not necessary </li></ul> <p>EMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
