Applicants should embrace this philosophy when applying.</p> <ul> <li>Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks </li><li>Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students </li><li>Plan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needs </li><li>Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems </li><li>Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff. </li><li>Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs. </li><li>Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning, and instructional strategies </li><li>Evaluate student progress which includes report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary </li><li>Appropriate Massachusetts Educator License (DESE) is required </li><li>Other duties assigned by the building administration </li></ul> <p>Rates of Pay: for Long-Term Teacher Substitutes Day 1 - 60; $275.00 per day (Based on Bachelors, Step 1 FY26) Day 61 - End of Contact; Sub will be hired at appropriate degree/step and given all benefits except for MTRS</p> <p>Please send letter of interest and resume to the attention of: Dr. Kelly R.
