<p>Are you customer service oriented and have a good understanding of assessing pre-owned vehicles? We are looking for a Used Car Purchasing Specialist to assist with purchasing pre-owned vehicles directly from customers at the Servco Buying Center.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive in-bound calls and make out-bound calls to schedule appointments for sellers to bring in their vehicle </li><li>Source used car sales leads via Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. </li><li>Appraise vehicles on site and remotely using Inventory Plus software </li><li>Obtain Buying Center Manager's approval to purchase pre-owned vehicles </li><li>Communicate purchase price to customer and inform Buying Center Manager if customer accepts or wants to negotiate further </li><li>Assist Buying Center Manager with obtaining purchase documents and have customer properly complete purchase documents </li><li>Obtain vehicle keys from customer and transport vehicle to Servco Pre-owned lot </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School graduate or equivalent </li><li>Business or Auto Technology degree preferred </li><li>Minimum of two years of customer service work experience </li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record </li><li>Ability to operate standard shift preferred </li><li>Auto sales or vehicle appraisal work experience preferred </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Strong customer relations skills </li><li>Knowledge of automotive makes and models </li><li>Basic proficiency with Word and Excel </li><li>DealerTrack, Dealersocket, Roadster, and/or Inventory Plus experience preferred </li><li>Multi-tasker and able work in a fast-paced work environment </li><li>Detail oriented with strong math/financial skills </li><li>Must be customer savvy, a team player, and able to adapt to changes </li></ul> <p>At Servco, we're committed to providing valuable mobility solutions to empower people through the freedom of movement and opportunity.
