<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Tutors</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>12/11/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Warrensville Heights Elementary School</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>08/22/2025</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Reading Support Tutor</p> <p>Reports to:</p> <p>Principal</p> <p>Description: Reading Support Tutors work up to 2-3 days a week, at the established rate of $25.00 per hour.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assist classroom teachers, as assigned by the principal, in use of student data to plan small group and individual standards-based instruction </li><li>Assist teachers with full implementation of district initiatives; </li><li>Assist teachers with planning instructional interventions for students based upon the data; </li><li>Implement interventions with small groups or individual students within the classroom environment; </li><li>Monitor student progress through conferencing and assessments to determine effectiveness of instruction; </li><li>Support effective use of instructional time by coaching student individual work, by delivering targeted small group lessons, and by conferencing with students about learning; </li><li>Assist teacher with the development of learning centers or stations to address critical needs in skill development; assist teachers with facilitation of station work during differentiated learning time. </li></ul> <p>The Reading Support Tutor is designated to enhance classroom instruction and improve student outcomes by providing targeted academic support in reading. Support tutors will work closely with classroom teachers to analyze student data, plan, and deliver small-group and individual, standards-based instruction tailored to student needs.</p> <p>Additionally, tutors will assist teachers in implementing district initiatives and delivering classroom interventions.
