<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position manages WisDOT's statewide federally funded multi-modal programs which include the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) and the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program (CMAQ).</p> <p>As a member of the team, this position is responsible for providing recommendations to section, bureau, and division management relative to policy modifications, concepts and performance management. The position is responsible for monitoring the impact of these programs on the department's on-going federal financial status, in consultation with the Bureau of State Highway Programs. The position provides data analysis on policy implementation and addresses inquiries from legislators, federal and state government officials, interest groups, other program managers, regional and central office staff in matters pertaining to these programs, as well as their impact on other state and local highway programs and projects.</p> <p>This position is responsible for identifying and initiating modifications for the policies, statutes and rules that govern these programs. This may include clarifying issues and problems related to these programs and designing study methodologies to address them, then collecting and analyzing information, developing alternatives, and recommending appropriate courses of action based on analytical results.</p> <p>To view the complete position description, email Benjamin Harwell at BenjaminK.Harwell@dot.wi.gov.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in schedule-range (07-03) with an annual salary of $68,556.80-$83,553.60, plus excellent benefits. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>WisDOT does not sponsor work visas.
