<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position manages WisDOT's statewide federally funded multi-modal programs which include the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) and the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program (CMAQ).</p> <p>As a member of the team, this position is responsible for providing recommendations to section, bureau, and division management relative to policy modifications, concepts and performance management. The position is responsible for monitoring the impact of these programs on the department's on-going federal financial status, in consultation with the Bureau of State Highway Programs. The position provides data analysis on policy implementation and addresses inquiries from legislators, federal and state government officials, interest groups, other program managers, regional and central office staff in matters pertaining to these programs, as well as their impact on other state and local highway programs and projects.</p> <p>This position is responsible for identifying and initiating modifications for the policies, statutes and rules that govern these programs. A twelve-month probationary period is required.
