Strengthen Our Mission.</p> <p>QUICK FACTS</p> <p>Location: Red Arrow - 2096 Red Arrow Trail, Madison, WI</p> <p>Pay: $23.00/hour</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Full Year</p> <p>WHAT WE OFFER</p> <p>Comprehensive Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid potential based on successful completion of introductory period </li><li>Bilingual pay-differential </li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off & Holidays </li><li>403(b) Retirement with Company Match After 2 Years </li><li>Company-Paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability </li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts </li><li>Public Service Loan Forgiveness Eligible Employer </li></ul> <p>Work-Life Excellence & Professional Growth</p> <ul> <li>Collaborative HR team environment with mentorship from HR Manager </li><li>Frontline HR role supporting employees across the organization </li><li>Cross-functional work with recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee relations </li><li>Site visits and community engagement opportunities </li><li>Professional development in mission-driven, values-based organization </li><li>Comprehensive professional development: ongoing coaching, paid continuing education, and credential support </li><li>Career advancement pathways with organizational training support </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED</p> <ul> <li>Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Experience: Minimum 1 year in HR, administrative, or related support role (candidates with more experience encouraged to apply) </li><li>Language: Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred </li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with or ability to learn Paylocity HRIS </li><li>Knowledge: Basic understanding of employment laws, benefits plans, FMLA, ADA, Leave of Absence </li><li>Professional Competencies: Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking with competing deadlines, strict confidentiality, excellent communication skills </li><li>Working Style: Independent and collaborative work capabilities, warmth and cultural sensitivity, service orientation </li><li>Experience: Working with families facing systemic barriers, poverty, housing insecurity, or economic hardship </li><li>Additional Requirements: Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with reliable vehicle and adequate insurance; Caregiver Background Check; physical examination </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <p>As a Human Resources Coordinator, you'll provide comprehensive HR support by:</p> <p>Recruitment and Hiring Support</p> <ul> <li>Supporting full-cycle recruitment including application review, candidate outreach, and interview scheduling </li><li>Attending job fairs and community recruitment events </li><li>Conducting reference checks and managing pre-employment background checks </li><li>Building relationships with universities and employment agencies </li></ul> <p>Onboarding and New Hire Processing</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with new hire paperwork and ensuring accurate, timely completion </li><li>Setting up employee records in Paylocity, ChildPlus, and Bridge systems </li><li>Coordinating new hire orientation logistics and welcome communications </li><li>Distributing staff ID badges and maintaining organized personnel files </li></ul> <p>Payroll Administration Support</p> <ul> <li>Reviewing timesheets for completeness and accuracy </li><li>Supporting payroll report review and error resolution </li><li>Performing data entry for position updates and changes </li><li>Serving as resource for employee timesheet and payroll questions </li></ul> <p>Compliance and Records Management</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining personnel files and licensing folders with strict confidentiality </li><li>Tracking CPR certifications, staff physicals, DOT physicals, and driver abstracts </li><li>Monitoring DPI licenses and WI Registry entries for teaching staff </li><li>Recording continuing education completions and training records </li></ul> <p>Employee Communications and Support</p> <ul> <li>Serving as approachable frontline HR resource for staff questions </li><li>Visiting program sites to represent HR and support positive employee experience </li><li>Providing bilingual support for Spanish-speaking candidates and employees </li><li>Communicating HR policies, benefits, and procedures clearly and warmly </li></ul> <p>WHO WE ARE</p> <p>At Reach Dane, we're reimagining early childhood education as a powerful tool for social transformation.
