<p>Regional Technical Consultant</p> <ul> <li>Baton Rouge, Louisiana </li><li>Job ID 35636BR </li><li>United States </li></ul> <p>Apply Now Save Job</p> <p>General Responsibilities:</p> <p>Oversee or provide technical expertise in the management of regional teams dedicated to the operations, development and growth of a service line department. Provide direction and lead efforts to standardize policies, practices and procedures among employees. Monitor the performance of teams and facilitate training, site visits, quality audits and safety incident investigation. May participate in marketing activities and recruitment of new team members.</p> <p>Essential Roles and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for partnering with departments and offices within designated region by providing technical expertise and consulting to further the development of a new line of business or service offering. </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert, resource and point of contact to office and department personnel within the region. </li><li>Develop and recommend policies, practices and procedures for the line of business to drive uniformity and standardization across the region. </li><li>Partner and collaborate with other Regional Technical Consultants in other regions to develop the line of business across divisions and operating groups. </li><li>Assist region departments in the execution of growth strategies and actions necessary to achieve the strategic and annual operations plans. </li><li>May participate in client development and pursuit activities. </li><li>May assist in recruiting/interviewing potential key hires for positions. </li><li>Develop/deliver training for new line of business to offices in region. </li><li>Provide technical support on projects as needed. </li><li>Assist in the development of projects, business and clients. </li><li>Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. </li><li>Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in technical discipline practiced by the firm or related discipline and a minimum of 8 years' related experience.
