We are looking for a high-energy, solution-oriented Technology Specialist to ensure our digital infrastructure is as brilliant as our students. You aren't just "fixing computers"; you are the vital link between complex systems and classroom breakthroughs. Whether you're deploying a fleet of Chromebooks, troubleshooting a server, or empowering a teacher with a new digital strategy, you are the person who keeps our "New Chapter" powered on and moving forward.</p> <p>Role Summary</p> <p>As a Technology Specialist, you are the frontline hero of our digital landscape. You will provide comprehensive support for all district hardware and software, serving as the primary "Help Desk" for your assigned locations. From initial setup and "triage" troubleshooting to maintaining the servers that power our schools, you ensure that technology "just works" so that learning never stops. You will work collaboratively with the Technology Services Office to manage inventory, secure user accounts, and pilot the next generation of instructional tools.</p> <p>Why You'll Succeed (Qualifications)</p> <ul> <li>Technical Foundation: You hold an Associate degree, technical school diploma, or equivalent professional mastery in computing, networking, or tech support. </li><li>The "Experience" Factor: You have at least two years under your belt installing and maintaining hardware in a managed environment (Active Directory/Open Directory). </li><li>OS Multi-Linguist: You are fluent in the worlds of Chrome, Windows, and Apple, and you stay ahead of the curve on the latest updates. </li><li>Agile & Mobile: You are ready to move! You have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to navigate between sites. </li><li>Physical Strength: You are ready for the "strenuous" side of tech-able to lift 40 pounds and move equipment across our campuses with ease. </li><li>The "Service" Mindset: You can translate "tech-speak" into plain English and love coaching others on how to get the most out of their digital tools. </li></ul> <p>Your Impact (Key Duties)</p> <ul> <li>Ignite Innovation: Provide hands-on instruction to staff and students, ensuring everyone feels confident using our district's cutting-edge hardware and software. </li><li>Master of Triage: Act as the on-site "Special Ops" for tech issues-investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software puzzles with speed and precision. </li><li>Maintain the Core: Keep our school servers running like a well-oiled machine, managing everything from backups and user profiles to critical security directories. </li><li>Guardian of the Fleet: Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory of our digital assets, ensuring that every device is imaged, licensed, and ready for action. </li><li>Digital Citizenship Mentor: Ensure our technology is being used safely and ethically, acting as a steward of the district's digital policies. </li></ul> <p>Your Leadership Partners</p> <ul> <li>Primary Support: Director of Technology Services </li><li>Building Support: Building Principals and Site Technology Committees </li></ul> <p>The Logistics of Your Success</p> <ul> <li>Classification: Professional Technical Staff 260-Day (Year-Round) Calendar. </li><li>Work Schedule: 8 hours per day; requires a flexible mindset for occasional evening or weekend district-wide support needs. </li><li>Salary: Competitive pay based on your technical certifications and verified experience. </li><li>Benefits: Full-time Eligibility (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, & Retirement). </li><li></li></ul> <p>You are navigating off of REAP site to the district's posting.</p> <p>OK</p>
