The role involves analyzing engineering challenges, resolving complex issues, and collaborating with internal engineering teams. The engineer will ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures while contributing technical expertise across the full software development lifecycle. This position supports potential conversion to a full-time role and includes a multi-stage interview process.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participate in moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives and related planning efforts. </li><li>Review and analyze engineering challenges requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. </li><li>Contribute to resolving moderately complex issues and collaborate with team members to meet deliverables. </li><li>Develop full-stack features using Java/Spring and Angular/React/Typescript. </li><li>Utilize GenAI development tools including GitHub Copilot/Coding Agent, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, Devin, and Cursor. </li><li>Support architectural discussions and provide input based on development and architecture experience. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience: 7+ years of software development and architecture experience demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.</p> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of Java/Spring experience. </li><li>5+ years of UI development experience using Angular or React/Typescript. </li><li>1+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI development tools (e.g., GitHub CoPilot/Coding Agent, Claude, Gemini Code Assist, Devin, Cursor). </li><li>Strong full-stack development experience with Java and a modern UI framework (Angular or React/Typescript). </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong Python experience. </li><li>1+ years of experience with AI Agent and MCP Server development. </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>The pay rate for this position is $52.00/hr - $56.00/hr. This is a contract role with the potential for conversion. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role follows a hybrid work schedule.
