<p>Field Specialist- Valves</p> <p>Department: Sales</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Milwaukee, WI</p> <p>Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 / year</p> <p>Description</p> <p>ASC is looking for an established Sales individual to fill our Outside Sales opening for a Field Specialist - Valves based in Milwaukee, WI covering KS, MO, IL, WI, MN, ND, SD, Northeast IN (Chicago Metro Area) for the Mechanical/Industrial markets (excludes Oil & Gas). The Valve Specialist is provided the opportunity to learn or expand upon his/her knowledge of the valve industry and sales knowledge/strategies. Primary Sales are directed toward established Contractors, Engineers and Distributors within the industry and sales knowledge/strategies, all while earning a competitive base salary plus commissions.</p> <p>How You Will Help</p> <ul> <li>Excel at demand generation through professionally demonstrating expertise and solutions selling to achieve a sales target </li><li>Build lasting relationships across a broad range of ASC-ES, contractor, distributor and industry constituents </li><li>Select, demonstrate and promote the best ASC-ES product solutions for specific end user applications to various customers </li><li>Work with distribution facing sales team in ASC-ES to assure sales closure, incremental product placement and achieve sales targets </li><li>Develop new contractor and project prospects for the ASC-ES Pipeline </li><li>Establish expertise and train key decision makers and users to ensure company-wide buy in for ASC-ES products </li><li>Act as the front-line champion for the success of ASC-ES new product rollouts in your given expertise area </li><li>Integrate into local trade organizations and associations to leverage contractor relationships for demand generation </li><li>Be the product team's eyes/ears about what is happening in the field from distributors, contractors and competition in your category of expertise </li><li>Embrace, utilize and demonstrate fluency in sales technology such as CRM, Tableau and Dodge reporting </li><li>Learn about the use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools and their relevance in selling at ASC-ES </li><li>80% Contractor / 10% Distribution / 5% Engineer / 5% Administrative </li></ul> <p>What You Will Bring</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated and self-driven </li><li>Positive, can-do attitude </li><li>Competitive team player </li><li>Excellent problem solver </li><li>Exudes confidence and professional image, at all times </li><li>Engaging, converses easily with others </li><li>Level headedness in conflict/under pressure </li><li>Easily creates clarity for others through polished communication style </li><li>Focused on team success and partnership over individual glory </li><li>At least 5 years outside sales experience, preferably within the PVF industry </li><li>Ability to travel up to 75% </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>The base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 USD annually*.</p> <ul> <li>The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this role.
