<p>Why do we need you ?</p> <p>What's the job?</p> <p>The Project Manager is a critical catalyst for innovation across Saint_Gobain's Commercial Buildings & Infrastructure portfolio. This role exists to orchestrate complexity, accelerate execution, and ensure delivery of a diverse pipeline of New Product Development and R&D initiatives across multiple business brands.</p> <p>Managing 25 -30 active projects simultaneously, the Project Manager brings structure, clarity, and momentum to cross_functional teams --ensuring projects move from concept to launch on time, on budget, and with purpose. Beyond tracking milestones, this role actively removes barriers, drives accountability, and elevates team thinking, enabling teams to solve problems, make decisions, and deliver value faster.</p> <p>This individual serves as the central hub of project intelligence, leveraging Monday.com to create transparency, align stakeholders, and translate strategy into actionable, achievable plans.</p> <p>Lead Key Product Development Projects</p> <ul> <li>Own and actively manage a portfolio of 25 -30 concurrent NPD and R&D projects across multiple brands and functions </li><li>Establish and maintain clear project charters, scopes, success metrics, and delivery timelines </li><li>Balance priorities across projects, identifying interdependencies, risks, and resource constraints </li><li>Maintain accountability for on-time and on-budget delivery, escalating issues proactively when needed </li></ul> <p>Plan, Track & Document Project Activities</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain detailed project plans in Monday.com, including tasks, owners, dependencies, milestones, and projected timelines </li><li>Ensure all project information is current, accurate, and visible to stakeholders </li><li>Track progress against milestones and budgets, identifying variances early and recommending corrective actions </li><li>Standardize project documentation and workflows to improve consistency and efficiency across teams </li></ul> <p>Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Lead bi-weekly project team meetings for each active project, setting clear agendas focused on progress, decisions, and next steps </li><li>Facilitate productive discussions that move teams beyond status reporting toward problem-solving and decision-making </li><li>Capture and distribute concise meeting notes, including action items, owners, and due dates </li><li>Follow up with task owners between meetings to ensure commitments are met and obstacles are addressed </li></ul> <p>Management Risks & Remove Barriers</p> <ul> <li>Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and cross-functional challenges that could impact timelines or outcomes </li><li>Apply a curious, analytical mindset to help teams think through trade-offs, alternatives, and solutions </li><li>Coach technical, commercial, and operational leaders to remove barriers and keep projects moving forward </li><li>Drive issue resolution with a calm, solutions-oriented approach --even in ambiguous or fast-changing environments </li></ul> <p>Maintain Stakeholder Communication & Alignment</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted point of contact for project updates, timelines, and delivery expectations </li><li>Communicate clearly and confidently with cross-functional stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Leadership </li><li>Prepare concise portfolio-level updates highlighting progress, risks, and decisions required </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement & PM Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and best practices </li><li>Leverage insights from completed projects to strengthen future execution </li><li>Act as a role model for disciplined, proactive, and collaborative project leadership </li></ul> <p>Is this job for you ?</p> <p>What do you bring?</p> <p>Required Education: Bachelor's Degree, Liberal Arts or Other</p> <p>Required Experience:</p> <p>10+ Years of Project Management</p> <p>Experience successfully managing deadline-driven initiatives</p> <p>Demonstrated capability in planning, organizing, integrating, and measuring projects & programs</p> <p>Strong problem solving, analytical & computer skills</p> <p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills</p> <p>Comfortable in a highly technical environment</p> <p>Experience with Project Management software</p> <p>Experience working in a large, matrixed organization - Preferred</p> <p>Experience with Monday.com - Preferred</p> <p>A little more about us</p> <p>Why work for us?</p> <p>Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products, CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
