<p>Overview</p> <p>The Program Representative will become part of the Special Projects Program Office with primary responsibility for the development of Ship Alterations within the Multi-Mission Platform on the SSN-23, as contracted from various Navy customers. This includes budgeting, cost control, planning, scheduling, and execution of all assigned projects. This position will interface with various design, engineering, and other departments to develop estimates for obtaining new work, procurement of material, manufacturing, etc. The candidate will interface with Groton management, off-site project offices and contract representatives, and NAVSEA Program Offices.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED </li><li>1+ years of submarine program experience </li><li>2 + years of experience with Project Management </li><li>Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>2 or 4-year degree or equivalent </li><li>Knowledge of shipboard testing </li><li>Ability to understand product structures </li><li>Familiarity with Electronic desktop (PCM/EWP/ELCADD), Oracle, ARTEMIS and MRP </li><li>Basic knowledge of EB Programs and Projects </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, which are necessary to function successfully in a team environment. </li><li>The ability to multi-task and possession of skills that permit independent functioning without significant oversight is required. </li><li>This position may require hands on work to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills are essential. </li><li>The ability to organize, prioritize and streamline for effective project management and process improvement is key. </li></ul> <p>Environmental Attributes</p> <p>Inside</p>
