<p>We are seeking a Support Specialist to join our team to provide mission-critical Service Desk support on the USAF logistics systems (depot maintenance/supply) in a Capability Delivery Team (CDT) environment. The candidate will be a member of a strong team consisting of Government personnel, contractor personnel, and Subject Matter Experts (SME). The Support Specialist will also assist the SME Team in providing functional knowledge of the systems to ensure accurate implementation of USAF logistics systems (depot maintenance/supply) requirements. This position has a remote/teleworking (work from home) schedule subject to change if availability of seating changes for on-site (Kettering, Ohio facility).</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>System Admin function to sign DD2875 forms for Sustainment Planning, Execution, and Reporting System (SPERS) access & re-route forms to the correct signatory. </li><li>Lock and unlock system users accounts. </li><li>Update user's profiles (e.g., wrong emails, name, contractor expirations dates for contractors. </li><li>Facilitate annual 2875 revalidation for all users. </li><li>Approval of role requests for SPERS access. </li><li>Ability to upload appointment letters to activate key users. </li><li>Deactivate users in SPERS. </li><li>Deactivate users DD2875 in the Automated 2875 System. </li><li>Assist with UAT testing. </li><li>Assisting users with service desk for any issue including initial access ones. </li><li>Request 2875 missing attachments for DD2875. </li><li>Maintain Knowledge base by maintaining "How-to" Articles for training in Confluence. </li><li>Maintain access to Confluence. </li><li>Maintain access to organizational email boxes to monitor DD2875 requests and user issues. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen. </li><li>Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>Successfully complete a T1 Public Trust background check or higher. </li><li>2 years of experience. with Agile Jira Service Desk. </li><li>3 years of functional or technical experience with USAF logistics systems (depot maintenance/supply) or comparable logistics systems. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with Customers as well as other delivery teams involved in the problem resolution process. </li><li>Ability to trouble shoot customer system issues. </li><li>Ability to work in a high stress and changing environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of JIRA Service Desk and Confluence. </li><li>Agile trained and/or certified. </li><li>Experience with Business and Enterprise System (BES) Directorate's lifecycle management process in an agile environment. </li><li>Knowledge of SPERS. </li></ul> <p>Physical and/or Mental Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and specialists. </li><li>Work independently to accomplish tasks and lead small teams, if required. </li></ul> <p>EOE, including Disability/Vets.</p> <p>Reasonable accommodation will be made for qualified individuals with a disability, where such accommodation will not impose an undue hardship during the application process and on the job.</p>
