<p>Window Installer</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and dependable Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with residential and/or commercial windows and a strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer service. This role involves installing, replacing, and repairing a wide range of window products while ensuring each job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to company standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Install, replace, and repair residential and commercial windows, including vinyl, aluminum, wood, and specialty glass. </li><li>Measure job sites accurately to ensure proper window fit and installation. </li><li>Remove old windows with care to avoid damage to property. </li><li>Prepare openings with proper leveling, shimming, insulation, and sealing. </li><li>Install trim, stops, caulking, and hardware for a finished and professional result. </li><li>Diagnose issues such as leaks, drafts, misalignment, and hardware failures. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE. </li><li>Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors. </li><li>Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment needed for each project. </li><li>Document materials used, hours worked, and job notes for accurate project tracking. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience installing residential or commercial windows (preferred). </li><li>Basic carpentry skills and knowledge of construction practices. </li><li>Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and technical documents. </li><li>Comfortable using ladders, power tools, and hand tools. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. </li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record. </li><li>Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions. </li><li>Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with glass repair or glazing. </li><li>Knowledge of building codes and installation standards. </li><li>Customer service or client-facing experience. </li><li>Experience working in homes, businesses, or construction environments. </li></ul> <p>Benefits (Optional to Include)</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay and performance incentives </li><li>Paid time off and holidays </li><li>Health, dental, and vision options </li><li>Company vehicle and tools (based on role) </li><li>Career development and advancement opportunities </li></ul>
