All In.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Solar Installer is part of the team responsible for the safe and successful installation of various solar equipment at the Kiowa, CO project site. This role utilizes a wide variety of tools and equipment to assemble and construct solar systems in accordance with scheduled work plans. The Solar Installer may also be assigned additional duties as required by project leadership.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Follow safety policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean job site and shake out material to the field.</p> </li><li> <p>Bolt up clamps for solar panels.</p> </li><li> <p>Hoist torque tubes into position and align/secure torque tubes.</p> </li><li> <p>Set drive motors.</p> </li><li> <p>Installation of dampeners and linkage between drive motors.</p> </li><li> <p>Set and install solar modules.</p> </li><li> <p>Tighten bolts to the proper torque specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Receive/stock materials and maintain accurate inventory.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality control for the scope of work.</p> </li><li> <p>When using equipment fill out equipment checklist and verify all items are in good working order, if not report the issue prior to damage occurring. Follow up with supervisor continually if not addressed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain tools used for installation to ensure they are in proper working condition and return tools at the end of work shift.</p> </li><li> <p>General cleanup of materials and debris.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a production environment where daily production goals are set, evaluated, and optimized</p> </li><li> <p>All other duties assigned by site leadership</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with solar construction projects preferred but not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience using various tools that are required to install mechanical assemblies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of material weighing 50 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions and confined spaces.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.</p> </li><li> <p>Unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated and takes initiative.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work well with others in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.</p> </li><li> <p>Age 18+</p> </li><li> <p>Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization</p> </li></ul> <p>For Colorado locations only, In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB19-085), we are including McCarthy's good-faith and reasonable estimate of a range of entry level base compensation at the time of the posting. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Given the dynamic nature of the large-scale commercial construction industry, a candidate's project portfolio and background can change the role and compensation for which that candidate might be qualified. The title and pay range for this role could change based on candidate qualifications and experience.
