Additional requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>Licenses: EMT, EMT-P, CNA, SRNA, or CMA Preferred or completion of first semester clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing Degree Program (ADN or BSN). </li><li>Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required, ACLS Preferred </li><li>Telemetry/Dysrhythmia course </li><li>1 year experience, preferred </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Under the supervision of an RN, performs continual telemetry surveillance of multiple monitors. </li><li>Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts. </li><li>Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. </li><li>Tests equipment for proper working order.
