<p>NOTICE OF VACANCIES</p> <p>TANTASQUA HIGH SCHOOL</p> <p>Academic/Behavioral Support Assistant Anticipated Start Date: August 27, 2025</p> <p>Classroom experience preferred.</p> <p>Reports to: Building Principal and Assistant Principal</p> <p>Responsibilities: Working under the general supervision of the building principal and assistant principal, supervise students assigned to Academic Support room for disciplinary reasons. Maintain a highly structured and orderly environment.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>maintains high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information concerning students and their records </li><li>supports and implements the Student Handbook regulations and discipline philosophy of the building to help maintain an effective learning atmosphere </li><li>maintains a safe environment for students </li><li>assists in the daily tracking of student attendance </li><li>maintains records and completes necessary paperwork for students in in-school support </li><li>notifies classroom teachers and requests class work for students in in-school support </li><li>facilitates assignment returns to teachers </li><li>provides written documentation, when needed, of acute behavior problems of students referred to in-school support </li><li>assists in non-instructional activities, including clerical work, as assigned </li><li>participates in in-service training programs and/or workshops as assigned </li><li>performs other tasks as assigned </li><li>Approved CORI and Fingerprint background check </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent required </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li></ul> <p>Apply through School Spring</p> <p>Peter Dufresne, Principal Tantasqua Regional School 319 Brookfield Rd.
